We are excited to finally introduce a project car of our own…the Concept One 1969 El Camino! This car holds a special place in our hearts because its original owner is the uncle of our co-owners, Kevin and Randy Redd. So, keeping it in the family Kevin and Randy are restoring this El Camino and adding a few extras along the way. Of course it will feature a Concept One Pulley System, but to find out what else we are including make sure to follow our blog and Facebook page for regular updates.

Concept One Honored as Masters of Innovation

Concept One accepted the Entrepreneurs Masters of Innovation award yesterday at Featherbone Communiversity. The award honors businesses that demonstrate excellence through innovation. Carroll Turner, director of the Manufacturing Development Center at Lanier Technical College said of the honorees: “They don’t understand the words ‘I can’t.’” Read more about all the honorees in the Gainesville Times.

New Power Steering Reservoir for Hydro-boost Brake Systems

Concept One has added a new upgraded power steering reservoir designed to be used on vehicles with a hydro-boost brake system. The new design calms the fluid in the reservoir, which reduces the noise encountered when running a hydro-boost brake system. This new product is available immediately as an option on all Chevy and Ford kits. “We are very excited to be able to offer this new power steering reservoir to our customers,” said Kevin Redd, Concept One co-owner. “We listened to customer concerns about the noise problem on hydro-boost brake systems and were able to design a solution for them.”
Alternator Fan Improves Cooling

All Concept One pulley systems now feature a new, upgraded alternator fan. The newly designed fan features a fin design and outperforms GM OE and other aftermarket alternator fans. Made of billet aluminum, it is CNC-machined for precision. The new fan is available on all Chevy and Ford kits. “We redesigned our alternator fan because we found the increase of electronics on vehicles was putting more pressure on the alternator which requires better cooling,” said Kevin Redd, Concept One co-owner.
